Living by Faith

Everyone lives by faith, whether in ourselves, our savings, our religion, or our philosophy of life.  In this sense, there are no faithless people.  Apart from God, those faith foundations are temporary.  For the Christian, our foundation is eternal and is built upon faith in Jesus.

Habakkuk is a prophet who served about 6 centuries before Jesus.  He lived between God’s promises and their fulfillment.  As we listen to him, we will learn what it means to live by faith in Christ when evil people seem to win and when being people of faith means waiting longer than we want.  We live in an age of instant gratification after all.  Faith in Christ produces power, confidence and joy.
